Guidelines for returning to the studio

 Dear Parent/Guardian,

We are really looking forward to welcoming our students back to class.

Here are just a few points we would like to remind you about returning to the studio.

St. Margaret Mary Church Hall. Middle Rd. Park Gate. SO31 7GH  Hampshire

  1. Whenever possible we ask that parents/guardians do not enter the building.
  • We request that you drop off your child at the main entrance, using appropriate social distancing.
  • Students will exit via the back door fire exit, 5 minutes before end time of class, where parents will be waiting, socially distanced.
  • Students will use the hand sanitiser on arrival before entering the studio.
  1. All students should arrive and leave dressed and ready for class in their dance clothes.
  • Any tasks that can be done at home should be done at home (hair, dressing etc.)
  • Make sure that dancers are not wearing ballet /dance shoes outside of the studio. Outdoor shoes should be taken off and left in the designated area of the classroom. Ballet / dance shoes should be put on immediately before the class and removed immediately after
  • Students should not wait in the classroom/studio if it is not their class.
  1. Reducing the number of shared facilities where possible.
  • Although there will be an emergency toilet available, it would be advised to parents/guardians to make sure your child has gone to the toilet before they enter the building.
  • Only one person to use the toilet at any one time.
  1. Students should bring only essential items with them.
  • Individual water bottles are discouraged except in very hot temperatures or for classes of long duration.
  • NO eating or food or drinks other than water on site.
  • If personal items are not removed at the end of the class, they will be disposed of immediately.
  1. If you suspect your child or anyone in your close family has Covid-19 please do not come to class. Inform your teacher immediately.

Looking forward to new but exciting term ahead!
